New Fellowship for Young Women Leaders - Apply Now!

The Sadie Nash Leadership Project is Now Accepting Applications for the 2011/2012 ELLA Fellowship

The ELLA Fellowship is a 9-month social justice fellowship for young women aged 16-22. The Fellowship provides young activists with the support they need to develop and implement a community action project from start to finish. During the program, Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of up to $300, complete independent work in their communities, receive ongoing one-on-one support, and participate in monthly skill-based trainings.

In order to be eligible, you must:

- Be a young woman between the ages of 16 and 22
- Have at least 2 years of leadership experience
- Commit to attending monthly retreats in the New York City area
- Be a self-motivated, passionate, and committed individual that
genuinely desires to serve as a positive force for change in her community

The deadline to apply for the Fellowship program is Friday, August 19th, 2011.
