Calling all Techie Young Women! Apply to be a Google Policy Fellow this Summer...



Eat your heart out Larry Summers! In the summer of 2009, Google will conduct its second Fellowship Program for young people interested in shaping policy around technology and the internet. Fellows will receive a stipend for their completion of the ten week program, and will have amazing opportunities to support, shape, and participate in the discourse, analysis, and policymaking around issues in internet privacy and safety, intellectual property and content regulation, broadband access, etc.

The fellowship is open to students of all backgrounds of study and within all majors of undergraduate and graduate studies. This is an excellent opportunity for women who aspire to work in the field of technology, as we are typically under-represented in this area!
